February 26, 2012 Scripture Reading

Good Morning Readers!

Jane and I have returned from our trip to help my brother and his family. Jeff is improving and may be out of the ICU today, and may be able to travel home within a few days. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks to the class for continuing without us and we look forward to seeing everyone this coming Sunday. This Sunday we will be reading and discussing the following scriptures:

Mark 11:1-11 and
Philippians 2:1-13

Theses scriptures speak to both the holiness of Jesus and the servant-hood of Christ. I think we will all find it very interesting. Until then -

February 19, 2012 Scripture Readings

Good afternoon!

This coming Sunday (2/19/2012) we will be reading and discussing the following Scripture verses.

Mark Chapter 9 vs 1-9, and
2 Kings 2:1-13.

I think you will find the Old Testemant story of Elijah and Elisha to be quite interesting.

Good Morning Classmates!

I have been gone a week and its nice to be back. Thanks to Teresa for leading the class while I was gone.

This next Sunday (2/12/2012) we will be reading and discussing the following Bible Passages -

Mark Chapter 1 vs. 40-45 and
II Kings Chapter 5 vs. 1 - 19

As you read thru these Bible passages you will discover many different people, and I ask that as you read the story's you try and determine which person best fits you and your spiritual outlook.
