We had a very excellent Koinonia Sunday School today as we read and discussed Chapter 1 of the book of Genesis. We talked about what God actually created first and then covered the various creation techniques God used as identified in Chapter 1. Most everyone of our 18 member class had something to offer. Next week (9/30/12) we will stay with Chapter 1 and address the following additional questions.
1. What does the term "Light" (in verse 3-5) mean to you?
2. What is the difference between the "Light" of the "First Day" and the "Light" of the "Fourth Day"?
3. How does God give shape and order to the formless earth?
4. In your own words, and per the Chapter 1 wording, explain how God fills the empty heaven and earth.
5. List the characteristics of humans creation from Genesis 1:26-28.
6. What provisions did God give humans?
7. What provisions has God given to you?
8. How has Genesis Chapter 1 encouraged you?
We hope to see you in class and as always I hope you -
Have a Great Day and Enjoy Life!
